On May 4th 2017 Richard Field sadly passed, leaving a hole in so many hearts. He had so many attributes in addition to be kind, caring and loving. Although his passing has been devastating, it was only fitting to give him a tribute celebrating his life, with family and friends. It was decided that close ones would come together and celebrate Richard's life by doing some of the things that he enjoyed doing, such as being active and socialising. Those who knew Richard well called him Fez.

On Saturday 28th October 2017 friends and family of Fez organised and participated in a special Parkrun in his name. Later on that evening the Fezzathon continued with a meal and drinks to commemorate the life of Fez and coming together to support one another. Here are some fantastic pictures from the special day.

Throughout the day Coventry and Warwickshire Mind wristbands and stress balls were given out in turn for a donation. The charity was chosen to benefit from the Fezzathon as it is a charity respected by those who knew Fez.

In all an incredible £332.62 was raised! The money has been donated to the It Takes Balls To Talk campaign.  The campaign  aims to raise awareness of mental health amongst Men and the connection it has with loss of life. For more information please click here

We, Coventry and Warwickshire Mind would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who attended and supported the Fezzathon event, and again would like to pass on our condolences. Thank you for helping the charity to continue the work that we do.
