Service users and staff from Coventry and Warwickshire Mind’s Intensive Recovery Support Service (IRSS) have been hard at work on their latest project, a powerful video highlighting how unique the service is.

Produced in its entirety by the service’s community, the footage was filmed on location at Harry Salt House in Coventry and shows individuals talking about what makes IRSS so special, with everything from filming and production to musical skills provided by the team.

This is what IRSS Service Manager, Paul Brophy, had to say:

“Staff and service users wanted to give a real taste of what it is like to receive support from the service, or to work there. We believe that we all have potential and skills to achieve the things that are important to us, and to this end we realised we could make the film. We had the stories, the skills, the musical talent and the drive to get it done and we wanted to say that we believe the service is special in its uniqueness, with the commitment and dedication of the staff team, providing a feeling of safety and security for our clients. We wanted to give viewers a taste of what we believe. I think we achieved what we set out to do!”
