Purpose of the job:

We are seeking applicants who are keen to join our Improving Access to Psychological Therapies Service (IAPT). The service is delivered collaboratively by Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Partnership Trust (CWPT) and Coventry & Warwickshire Mind, and we have a significant number of High Intensity Therapists and Psychological Well-being Practitioners in the service. CWIAPT has already received local and regional recognition, has dedicated service and clinical leadership, with close and ongoing relationships with partner providers and local commissioners.

Since October 2011 the Telephone and Referral Centre (TaRC) has been managed by a team of advisors and volunteers. In order to cover a period of maternity leave, we are looking to appoint a Client Referral Advisor on a fixed term contract for a period of 12 months.  There is the potential for this to become a permanent position as the service expands.

Applicants are required to have:

  • Evidence of working in an administrative environment.
  • Experience of supporting people who have suffered with mild to moderate depression and anxiety (this experience does not need to be in a paid capacity).
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • A commitment to equal opportunities.
