What can our stories do? 

When we tell our own story, other people begin to understand how we feel. Where mental health is concerned, that is a big deal... 

If you share your experience of mental health with a person who is struggling to cope with a mental health issue, you can show empathy. If you share that story with people who don't have experience of mental health issues, you can educate and reduce stigma.

If you tell a story of fundraising, you can inspire more fundraising. 

If you share your volunteering story, you can encourage more people to volunteer.
