One sugar or two? The incredible volunteers from our Anxiety Management and Relaxation courses have fundraised for Coventry and Warwickshire Mind for the third year in a row. On July 1st 2017, they held a fundraising Coffee Morning at the Methodist Church in Woodside Avenue in Finham to support the work of Coventry and Warwickshire Mind. Delicious cakes, mouth-watering drinks and good company were on offer and various people attended and socialised, helping to raise a fantastic £145 in the space of 90 minutes! We would like to say a special thank you to those that helped organise the event. Thank you to Sue Davies, who coordinated the wonderful Coffee Morning and helped bring people together. Also to Tony Thompson and his wife Betty who organised the cake stall and made and sold beautiful and delicious homemade cakes, which sold very quickly. Huge thanks also go to Graham Ricketts who arrived early to set up the tables and Kevin Foxon who helped with the setting up, clearing up and in the kitchen making toast, tea and coffee along with Tony and Sue. Sue said: "It was hectic but good fun serving so many people in the short space of time." Last but not least, we would also like to thank all at the Methodist Church who kindly enabled the event to take place again. To everyone that attended and supported the event, thank you for helping Coventry and Warwickshire Mind continue the good work that it does! The money raised will support the delivery of the Anxiety Management and Relaxation courses.
