In November 2016, our Intensive Recovery Support Service (IRSS) had its first inspection by Care Quality Commission (CQC).

The areas covered by a CQC inspection are:

  • Is the service safe?
  • Is the service effective?
  • Is the service caring?
  • Is the service responsive?
  • Is the service well-led?

Services are given one of 4 ratings in each area: Inadequate, Requires improvement, Good, and Outstanding.

IRSS was rated GOOD in all areas.

We were particularly pleased with this as this is very rare for a service which has only been running around 18 months.

You can read the full report here.

Well done to the Service Manager Paul Brophy, Team Leader Luke Jackson and everyone involved!
