Children and young people across Warwickshire will soon benefit from new emotional wellbeing and mental health services.

Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust, in partnership with Coventry and Warwickshire Mind, has secured the contract to deliver a new and innovative approach to the services starting in August. The focus will be on earlier intervention, building resilience, and increasing access to support.

This is the announcement in full from Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust, Coventry and Warwickshire Mind, and Warwickshire County Council:

“We are happy to announce that Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust, in partnership with Coventry and Warwickshire Mind, has been successful in securing the contract to provide children and young people’s emotional wellbeing and mental health services in Warwickshire.

“A great number of young people, parents, and professionals have contributed to the redesign and procurement of this new service, and we want to thank everyone for their involvement to date. We look forward to working with them in the future to make a success of what will be a new approach to providing children and young people's mental health services.

“This new service will see innovative approaches to delivering services, with a focus on earlier intervention, building resilience, and increasing access to support. A number of these innovations will take time to establish, and will be phased in over the next two years. Work to achieve this transformation is already underway, however, and the service will begin in earnest from Tuesday 1 August.”

Watch out for further information about these services.
