About the service

The service allows Coventry and Warwickshire residents who are suffering from anxiety, panic or phobias access to a NICE recommended computerised Cognitive Behavioural Therapy programme called FearFighter.

The programme is simple, easy to use, anonymous, confidential and freely available through the NHS.

It is clinically proven, effective non drug treatments and have been proven to be as effective as face-to-face therapy. NICE, the National Institute for Health & Clinical Excellence, has endorsed the programme as being as effective as face-to-face therapy.

You do not need to be a computer expert to use the service. Support will be provided where necessary. It is a supported, self-help treatment option. Take the programme at your own pace and fit it in with your schedule. No waiting lists.

How are they accessed?

GPs can refer to the IAPT service or an individual can self-refer by calling 0845 521 6100 .  The client will be given log on details once suitability for the programme has been assessed.
